Paint and Trim codes

Morning.

I've recently bought a 1974 HQ ute as a project, and I've a few questions.

From what I can gather from searching the net is that it is a '74 Belmont made in Sydney and came with engine L20 (202). There are no codes on the plate for trans or axle.

The paint code (568-15894) which I think is black. I'm unable to find a reference for the trim code (1885-35A). Though the glove box lid and A pillar trims are painted a bluey-grey.

Can somebody help me identify the colour and trim?

I've attached a photo of the plate.

Thanks.

Torana S 308 - How many were made?

Been asking around to see what people know. I have been told that this would have been a special order car. if this is the case anyone know how many may have been ordered like this? or how I would find out? and if it is a rare combination from factory would people really care about that?

Thanks in advance.

Well well well

As it is restoring old cars finally got some paint on the old car, havnt clear coated it yet as it needs a few more on it an a couple off spots that need a bit more time spent on em .
Also getting rid off the chrome strip so the holes are going to be plugged with stainless Phillips head screw/bolts an lock nuts an ground the heads off a bit at a time (due to heat ) done a few this way an found it works in the past.
Whom ever said paint a car white an it will hide stuff is a lier 😎
I have painted cars black as well ,l wound say dark blue hides the most little marks etc

Blue Motor Carby

What is the best carby to put on a 3.3 Blue six.
I am only running in the low rev range of 3000rpm and under.
I considered the 34ADM Weber from a3.3 XE-XF Falcon, but I have been told they don't perform well in the lower rev range like I am looking at.
Any ideas from the brains-truss please?

Cheers, Mick.

Pig Oinks 308

Asked earlier about centre caps WTB to fit 68mm centre bore, preferably screw on. Read Pigs article on polishing rims, helped heaps. My question, where did you buy your centre caps back then Pig and still interested if anyone out there has some to sell, consider clip ons.
Thanks again, Arch.
