Flooded (literally) 12 months later crazy drivetrain groan

Gday legends
Ive had a poke around on here and the net and I cant quite find what I need.

Last year boondall was flooded. well both my girls were out in this flood and it got up to 2-3 inches above the bottom of the door. I didnt have the time to do much about it and had them towed home a few weeks later. (they were at mother-in-laws)
skip forward a year ive done nothing (bad idea right, im sorry i really am) The one that was driving at the time of the flood now has a wonderful grinding, groaning sound when going driving.

The engine turns over and had a tapping sound but that has gone, it has low power but its prob sparks, fuel the usual stuff.

Eh Panel Van Id plate help

Hi, I'm after some help in identifying the interior trim code colours on this plate for an Eh panel van.

It looks like 1113-c52 or 1115-c52.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Help/Advice

Hi all, does anybody know how to email or contact The Australian Government Department Of Infrastructure and Regional Development. I've searched their website and can't find squat. I believe it is them I need to talk to.
I have a dilemma whereby I have an imported vehicle (1963) that I purchased a few years ago. However along the way the Import Papers have been lost, and its beleived the fellow who did import the car is deceased. I'm hoping I can get replacement papers, however this might be a problem as I was not the original Importer, nor was the fellow I bought it from.

Trimatic Kickdown solenoid wiring connector

I am after the connector and wire that connects to the kickdown solenoid on a Trimatic transmission. I reckon any model Holden that has a Trimatic will have the same connector. If you have an old harness laying around that you would be happy to sacrifice this wire from I would be eternally grateful. Please let me know if you can help

v8 radiator for 6 cylinder

Ok guys, a mate of mine gave me a chev v8 radiator to go into my 161 powered hg holden ute. i had the radiator repaired at a proper shop and they also changed the size of the outlets to suit the 6 cylinder. now thankfully, the chev v8 radiators and 6 cylinder radiators have similar outlet placement which was a perfect match for the bottom hose. However the top hose was not as good and due to about an inch in difference i have had to pull and and stretch the hose to make it fit.

Hz power steering

Hi all I'm new to the show so be gentle. Anyway I have a question I hope someone can shed some light on it so here goes. I just fitted power steering to my Hz tonna all good until I noticed that the pitman arm is longer by about 5to7 mm. Every pitman arm I've measured has been the same size as the one on my manual box I pulled out which is 177 mm end to end and the one on the power steering box is 185 mm. The longer pitman arm is the same length as the pitman arm on the manual box in my Hqss.

Fremantle 1960s Day

Image:

Hi Guys - I took Henry the HR to a 1960's car day held in Fremantle a few
weeks ago - they blocked off the roads.

It was a great day out - pre 1970's cars parked all the way down high street
and in the adjoining car parks.

We all got together at 2pm and did a historic car bog lap which was awesome.

Reversing FC diff install in FX sedan back to original fx diff

Hi
I am wanting to convert my old fx back to original. It came with an FC diff in it when I bought it 20 years ago. They changed the diff but kept the front end original. I swapped in an FX/FJ diff on the weekend, but the uni joint on the tailshaft didn't match. The flange on the fx/ fj diff seems smaller. I don't have an fj tailshaft.

I am looking at the following options given I don't have an fj tailshaft.
1. Wondering if the FC diff centre will fit the fj diff housing?
2. or if I can just fit fj axles and brakes in the fc diff housing
3. or if I can swap the flange off the fc diff centre onto the fj diff centre. I don't really want to do that as it will probably stuff up the diff backlash etc
