workshop / service bay to rent

Just trying to judge how much interest there would be in a workshop for rent, large shed complete with hoist engine crane, pretty much all the basic tools needed for everything from an oilchange to a complete restoration, would this be a viable thing? would there be enough demand for something like this to make it viable to open one? would it just be the boy racer doof doof crowd that would use it?
just thinktanking the idea at the moment

Hey Rusty...

I don't mean to be a PITA, but when are the sheds coming back up bro?
I had a major hard drive failure, and my shed is the only remaining photos of some of my cars...
Oh, and I have been so completely lost at times without being able to access some of the more highly valuable info, especially Mr Jones trim and paint colours mate, so lost...
Sadness
:(

Crate 202

Morning lads,

Anyone know of someone who does reconditioned Holden 202's ready to go for a fair price? Similar to a crate motor?
Down in Tasmania rebuilds seem expensive so just putting it out there getting one freighted down.

Thanks in advance.

1948 - 1968 Nasco Parts

I managed to finally find the parts book for my HR.

Just for those looking to pick up the parts book - the first book on the left goes to FB 1948 - 1960 and the second one is 20 years FX-HR.

FJ 1954 Question about paint colour

Paint I.D. is 207-15279 Potomac blue.
Is there any way that I can see what colour this is. Looking at the holden paint sample chart it looks to be black. Also Trim 61-271 any idea what that should be.
regards Jay B

Fuel spitting from 202 carter indicator hole

Hey guys, as above, I've just noticed some fuel spitting from the indicator hole on the rear side of the carter pump.
Just for some reassurance, would that be a fingered diaphragm? I've had a look at the handy holdenpaedia page already :)

And if it is, anybody know of a decent shop in Perth that would carry that sort of stock?

Cheers for any advice,
Rhys

Bigger clutch in red 6 HG

I have a 186, and bought an aussie 4 speed to fit to it. The 4 speed came with a flywheel, clutch disc, and pressure plate

I installed my old flywheel that has always been on my 186, and then found that the pressure plate was larger than my original. The clutch disc was also of larger diameter.

I decided that the significantly larger clutch surface area might be a good thing, so I then installed the flywheel that came with the 4 speed, along with the matching clutch gear.
