Goggo Goggomobile.

This is mental engineering, a 16 cylinder radial engined Goggomobile.. I'd drive it for fun.
You'll have to scroll down the page to the show next tab to get to the grey Goggomobile..
Be sure to click on the next video tab at the end of each video as the build progresses.. They are only short.

HT Coil spring insulator

When you install the front coil springs on a HT do you still use coil spring insulators at the top of the spring? I was told by a suspension place that they dont worry about it these days as the tolerance for the springs (during manifacture) is much better then 40+ years ago and it is not necessary. If they are still required where do you purchase them? Thanks.

Bloody ebay sellers

Whinge, whinge, whinge. I jumped on the pootie to have a look at EJ's on ebay under the 'Cars' section.

Result? 8 listings.

How many were EJ's? 2.

"Westinghouse dishwasher may suit FX FJ FC FE EK FB EJ EH HD HR XK XL XM XP buyer."

Well that's a slight exaggeration, but you get where I'm coming from. It'd be nice if ebay could police it somehow. If I want an FX, I want an FX. A picture of a rooted HK Belmont ute is not going to change my mind!

Correct Installation of HG lower control arm bushes???

Hello,

Earlier this year had a Pedder's outlet assemble my HG's front crossmember (off the car), I supplied new rubber mackay upper and lower control arm bushes and balljoints to fit, they supplied springs.

The crossmember is now on the car and when I took it for a wheel alignment the mechanic said he wouldn't do it because lower control arm bushes are incorrectly installed. I rang the Pedder's outlet and over phone the mechanic told me that it was normal practice to not press this bush home. I know cars that I have seen at the wreckers etc; and have bush pushed home.

Finally a wedding photo

After months and months we finally have the photos back from my wedding. Pity it rained on the day but the car still looks shmick in the wet.

The photos of the second car we had for the wedding, a Torana, may find their way to OH in due course.

wheel problem

Hi. I have a Holden HZ Kingswood which i have just bouht. It is a great old car and I like driving it. The question I have is to do with the wheels. 3 of the wheels have 5 nuts on them. 1 wheel thouh only has 3 nuts. I thouht this was just how it was until my mates said it should have 5. So I went and bouht some more wheel nuts and after I drove home I was going to put them on. I found when I went to put them on there are no wheel bolts in the holes so I obviosly cant put the nuts on. Are my mates wrong and it only is ment to have 3 nuts?
