Shed Slab

Image:

Managed to convince my in laws to help out with laying the slab for the shed. On a budget here so the 6mx6m shed was done over two weekends using a mixer and a some bent backs. All up cost for sand and gravel, cement, mesh and plastic was just under a grand, plus $200 for dolomite for the base.
Its not like a professional job of course because we didn't use the proper finishing machine. Surface was done with a yard broom when the top was almost dry to give a non slip surface.
Not sure what the retail price would be for this, the last quote I got two years ago was for $2k and I'm sure it would be more now.

Torana/Monaro Wheel caps

I am after the dimensions of the Torana & Monaro wheel caps, both the hight & the Circumference at the base of the cone (if you know what I mean)...

I have a set of alloy mags on the HQ wagon that are missing the caps & I was wondering if the wheel caps off a LC/LJ or HK-G monaro cap might fit in there place, by mounting them through the centre hole, as I know they wont bolt on via the wheel studs, due to the different stud spacings..

so if anyone can help out that would be great...

HG ute - cabin drain points

G'day again folks,

Just a quick one today. Where are the drain points in the HG ute cabin? I've had an 'unplanned ingress of water' (kids, window open, hose!) and there is water pooling under the seat. Short of stuffing towels in or taking the seat out, are there drain points underneath in the rear? I'm assuming that if there are, they're blocked as the water hasn't drained in a few hours. If there are, I can get under and unclog them if they are indeed clogged up. There isn't much, but there's enough to be annoying...

If not, how does water drain from the cab?

4 Sale, HQ-HZ re-set lowered rear leaf springs. Perth NOR

G'day All.

Selling a pair of re-set lowered rear leaf springs for HQ-HZ in Perth NOR. Bushes look good, Lowered 2 inches. I bought these in expectation of buying a ute, but that deal fell through long ago and these have been sitting under my garage bench for ages collecting dust. No ute in sight so time to go!

Thought I would try here before I whack em on Gumtree or eBay.

$150 for the pair, thats what they cost me and just want to get my money back.

email me on fletch350308 @ hotmail.com (minus the spaces)

Cheers
Fletch
